Mainstreaming Biology as a philosophy and way of life, Abiva’s Biology worktext is filled with engaging concepts and laboratory activities that set science in the context of human society. Biological concepts are interwoven among social, technological, and environmental issues to motivate students to apply scientific attitudes and methods in decision-making. Graphs, tables, hands-on activities, laboratory experiments, engaging discussions, and research work expose students to relevant issues affecting the community and raise their awareness and concern for the environment.
- Lead students to understand and value the role of man in sustaining the biosphere by advocating science as both content and process.
- Motivate students to be informed, be reflective, and be active to ensure nature conservation, life preservation, and appreciation of biodiversity.
- Engage students through compelling discussions, hands-on activities, laboratory experiments, and research work.
