Math for Lifelong Learning, a mathematics textbook series for Kinder to Grade 6 is the latest series for mathematics literacy that was coordinated by Teresita F. Religioso. Abiva Publishing House, Inc. has just released the series to the market in time for the school year 2016-2017. The complete package, K-12 compliant, comes with exercises-filled and values-laden worktexts and well-thought-out teachers guides for the grade levels.
Mrs. Religioso graduated from Manuel L. Quezon University (MLQU) with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She earned her masters of arts degree in chemical education from De La Salle University (DLSU), where she also has doctorate units major in science education.
She is a former director of the Research and Academic Development Office and former chairperson of the Science Department of St. Scholastica’s College (SSC), Manila. She is also a former Assistant Principal for Academics and Science Department Head at La Salle Greenhills.
She is a recipient of two Professorial Chairs in SSC and is a coordinator, an author, and a coauthor of several science, mathematics, MAPEH books for the primary and secondary levels. She has also written a handbook for science teachers. She also facilitates seminars on competency-based learning.
She is presently the Academic Director of Elizabeth Seton School. She is also president of the NCR Premier Association of Private Schools, Inc.
